The farm "Sa Tanca" was born in 1900 named after its owner "Tanca Castoldi" son in law of Giovanni Antonio Sanna, landlord of the mines of Montevecchio.
The construction is still in very good shape and very well conserved surrounded by 370 acres of fertile land. In 1967 the farm was yielded by the Castoldi heirs to the private sector specially to the Chessa family, (breeders for generations).
Thus, the Chessa family has continued with livestock activities until these days. At the present time, the farm counts with sheep, pigs and other small animals, becoming an Agritourism Farm in 2001.
Our rooms and spaces were restored in such a way to preserve the old traditions, respecting the charm of old constructions used in the past for activities like cheese production as well as livestock care.
Our agritourism farm has a large hall with 80 seats, 5 double bedrooms with bathroom, including one bathroom for handicapped people.
Air-conditioned rooms with TV and hair dryer, large parking lot and the freedom to participate in most farm activities.
